Spray clean the showers

You should always have a shower before hopping into the pool. After swimming too, the showers are used to rinse the chlorine from your body and wash yourself. As such, showers come into contact with pool water, oils and soap. These can soon turn your showers into a complete mess. The shower area is often pretty large as well, so you want to work as quickly as possible with optimal results. BOMA can tell you how best to go about this.

Use a foam gun or SprayWash!

Follow these simple steps for optimal results. In terms of cleaning products, alternate between a degreaser and a limescale remover every time you clean.
  1. Open up all the shower drain covers
  2. Apply the appropriate product to the showers using the foam gun
  3. Clean the walls using a Doodlebug
  4. Scrub the floor with a brush and clean the drain
  5. Rinse everything with plenty of water
  6. Disinfect the showers using a nebuliser up to a height of one metre
  7. Leave to soak for a while and rinse with plenty of water
SprayWash As part of your regular cleans, soak the showers using a SprayWash. Then rinse with water. Once a week, apply a strong limescale remover to the showers. Foam gun Use a foam gun. As part of your regular cleans, alternate between a limescale remover and degreaser. That way, you'll be able to tackle the limescale deposits caused by excessive water and the accumulation of natural oils.
