It is best to keep tools used in different areas or for multiple tasks strictly separated. Reusing the same brush in several rooms significantly increases the risk of cross-contamination. Dirt and pathogens can then easily spread from one area to another.

Choose a different colour equipment for each room. That way, it will be clear which equipment belongs in which room.
