Clean your stone floors
A stone floor can be a beautiful and durable choice for a social space, but it's important to know how to clean it properly to extend its lifespan and ensure hygiene. Whether it's a natural stone floor, ceramic tiles, or concrete, each floor has its own unique characteristics and requires specific cleaning methods and products. Porous stone floors, for example, can be more susceptible to stains and require extra attention when cleaning.

Here's how to clean the floor
Different types of floors
- Place the handle to nose height
- Hold the handle by the ball at the top, so your elbow stays in a neutral position
- Walk forward in one straight line, moving as close to the mop as possible
- Return with a zigzag motion, moving close to the mop. That way, there's no need to bend your back as much, and you can work in a nice upright position.
- Do not make angles greater than 45°, and do not mop past your left foot if you are right-handed to spare your back
Manual vs. machine
