Sweat it out in enjoyable and clean surroundings

Relax your muscles for a while and simply unwind: many people enjoy spending some time in a sauna. To guarantee everyone's comfort, it is important to clean this space properly as well. Not only will it look nicer that way, you'll also be preventing odour issues. Read a selection of tips here

Clean all areas of a sauna, including below the benches

A sauna is not that easy to clean. There are many wood elements that are not easy to move. Simply ignoring them is not an option, of course. That won't look pretty, and unpleasant odours will soon start to form. Depending on the structure of your sauna, there are a number of options. Fixed structure If the wooden elements are fixed, and you cannot move the panels or place them to one side for a while, spray a degreaser using a foam gun, leave for a while, rinse, and repeat with a disinfectant. Vacuum the water from underneath the wooden benches using a wet vacuum cleaner. Mobile structure Use the same approach as for a fixed structure, but you can now also clean the floor using a brush or machine. For tough dirt, you can use a Mi-TOR. As you can now tackle the floor thoroughly, and not just chemically, you'll be able to get it much cleaner. Once you're done, dry the floor using a squeegee, or vacuum up the using a wet vacuum cleaner.
